- Some type full emulation is almost surely needed for FTA to keep up with Dish/Bev now and the futureas the the cat and mouse game goes on.

Many coders released a fix to run BEV on their FTA boxes but then it went south later on so now it doesn't matter as most are in turmoil again.

Dishnet hit the illegally flashed receivers later on in the same day by knocking down the Premium, XXX,PPVs and International channels on the 14th...... as we said the cat and mouse game so to speak. So now Bev & Dish have opened up a door today that allows them to run any code they want. Yes ANY CODE...

They are now at a point they can change that code every minute of every hour of every day, thats right every minute they can do this on a whim now. Have you noticed no new fixes are out by anyone yet...just some partial old BINS using some forms of emulation getting some strange channels lines-ups are whats working in some degrees.

This is gonna get really interesting very quickly now if not already. We'll soon see who has the know how to stay up and with the real coders. Only a full blown emulation of the card stands a chance we feel now. Since we already know that Bev is the testing grounds for dish, the future is definitely uncertain for the older FTA units as well regardless of what comes about. Older units,slower units ,units with limited memory and growth ability are out period now and for the future.

The units that just "PATCH" for each ecm in the past will die by the wayside now, or be sent back to their original purpose, of just plain ole FTA use out of North America now maybe. Many will have no choice so just face that facts now. Thats the life of testing everyone. The day has come its here and some if not many will be saying good by for now and good by to old or weak FTA units period. Those are just the facts now. The coders just can't continue to spend and waste valuable time trying to squeeze blood out of the turnip anymore to make ALL happy. But I would also wait to get any new boxes to really see which ones are gonna be kicking good when all this dust clears for FTA in the days a head. In A week we should see where things fall and what is left standing for a starts only...then go from there...yea a week..not this first round of pending fixes due out anytime now tin next 24 hours.

Nagra has had their security issues for quite sometime as we have all seen. But its sure looking a lot more secure than ever before, almost like NDS was paid to help out with the dynamics of "DYNAMIC CODING" from days of old DTV days. The combination of stuff they can throw and are throwing at us is now and will be endless. Just like the DTv days when they did their things...

Thats the truth and bad news for many now. The coders are said to be about 95-98% done with the a new full emu, correct right down to clock frequency counters and timers within the MAPPROM. The "Coders" as well, are just as determined to end the endless possibilities of dynamic hashing going on and to be hitting us more so in the future as well. We have some that are just as good as the best NDS or Nagra engineers have. But They have ALL the info on the cards period ALL...we are nor sure just how much the coders have and what they need to learn still to keep things running longer but EMU seems to be the only real answer and is what is being pursued.

It has been to easy to watch free TV for Bev and Dish signals for free for a long time now. Just about every tom,dick and harry old fta unit would do the trick along with thousands of mindless testers who know dodo about testing were and are doing it,so it seems. This is gonna change for many now and soon for more. This will not be the case in the very near future for FTA,maybe for some other methods as well...Hint Hint you cards types.... People will have to finally retire those old Fortec, Pansats and no doubt alot more and thank GOD as well. We need to weed out lots of junk and whining testers, get back to the hobby.

It's all gonna boil down to who has the best coders now no doubt. We'll get to see who has the smartest coders, and the best support. The game and hobby is far from over for some,but over for many before long as well but it is about to change dramatically so don't think its gonna go on like always with a few more patches to some junk and crying testers who have hurt the hobby and brought us to this point now.

Many of you are watching Bev right now on a previous bin. Why are these units up and others aren't? Simple, it is an Emulation of the card that is working or partially working, some that wasn't finished yet, but is working for the current Bev hashing, some for dish, and its hot and miss and luck and it all makes up testing and the hobby. Many will say we are full of it an ourselves for speaking about it too the world so bluntly...so what.this currently is no more about the hobby but greed and lots of so called out in public whining testers that can't go without a fix for 5 minutes without flooding the ways with dumb questions and reheortic. Hell most still have 300 channels going but whine anyway...well the times are gonna change and they get new skills and new boxes that work are they don't play the game anymore...just the facts...The Game is about to change and today is the day it starts....Thank GOD...
